Chief Keef Being Sued For Child Support By Middle Schooler

Minors Loving Sosa???

It seems like Chief Keef can’t stay away from legal issues. He is being accused of impregnating a girl who is still in middle school and now she is suing him for an undisclosed amount of child support including health insurance and other medical expenses.

Not only that, he can be charged with a misdemeanor for “criminal sex abuse.” Even though they are both underage, in the state of Illinois when both parties are between the ages of 9 and 17, the older of the two is committing the crime. Keef can dodge the “criminal sex abuse” charge if the girl’s parents dont press charges. If the girl’s parents does press charges, he can face a maximum of 1 year in jail and he would have to register as a sex offender for 10 years.

Chief Keef Sentenced to 60 Days in Jail

Rapper to serve two-month bid for probation violation.

A Chicago judge has put rapper Chief Keef on a brief timeout from making music. The “I Don’t Like” hip hop star will now spend the next couple of months in juvenile detention.

According to the Chicago Tribune, the 17-year-old rap star was given a 60-day sentence for running afoul of his probation on a 2012 gun charge. Earlier this week, Keef was arrested following a court appearance, where Judge Carl Anthony Walker ordered him to be detained for showing a “willful disregard” for the stipulations of his probation.

Once he heard the court’s decision Keef reportedly begged for his freedom.
"I beg you, please," Chief Keef pleaded with the judge. "Give me one more chance to show you. ... I am a very good-hearted person. I have not picked up any more cases. That's not my life anymore."

The rappers’ legal troubles stem from a video interview he did with Pitchfork in which he’s seen holding a gun at a New York City gun range. The notorious video sparked backlash for the music site and led prosecutors to argue that Keef violated the terms of his 18-month probation. Keef was famously on house-arrest in 2012 for pointing a gun at police officers.

While 2012 was a break out year for the young artist, it also saw him embroiled in several controversies. In September, Keef took to Twitter to mock the murder of fellow Chicago rapper Lil JoJo.

Despite the being on the wrong side of the outcome today, the rapper’s lawyer thinks he’s prepared to face what’s before him.
"I think, under the circumstances, that this is something that Keith can really live with," attorney, Dennis Berkson, said outside court. "And hopefully he'll get out of this and go on with his career and go on with his life."

CATFISH: The 9 craziest things about the Manti Te'o hoax story

Manti Te'o Knows He Didn't Keep It Real

There are dozens of crazy things associated with the Manti Te'o "hoax story," first reported by Timothy Burke and Jack Dickey of The first, of course, is the hoax itself: Contrary to national reports, Te'o's girlfriend, Lennay Kekua, not only didn't die in September, she never existed at all.  Outside of that one huge, enormous, unavoidable fact, here are the nine craziest aspects to Deadspin's Te'o-girlfriend-hoax story:

1. Ronaiah Tuiasosopo, who Deadspin alleged created the Kekua persona, was friends with Te'o. Deadspin suggests in its piece (citing tweets by Tuiasosopo) that Te'o and Tuiasosopo met and spent time together during Notre Dame's trip to play USC in early December.

2. A friend of Tuiasosopo's told Deadspin that he was "80% sure" that Te'o was "in on it."
3. Stanford never had any record of anyone by the name Lennay Kekua attending the university. One of the original stories about Te'o and Kekua came in the Nov. 28, 2009 edition of the South Bend Tribune, which identified Kekua as a Stanford student.
4. After Notre Dame's 13-6 win over Michigan on Sept. 22, coach Brian Kelly awarded the game ball to Kekua. He gave it to Te'o and said "take this back to Hawaii," said the Deadspin story.

5. Te'o spoke about his girlfriend in a postgame interview with ESPN's Heather Cox following a win over Michigan State on Sept. 15:  "They were with me. So, I couldn't do without them," he said, speaking of his girlfriend and his grandmother, who died on Sept. 11. "I couldn't do without the support of my family and my girlfriend's family. I'm so grateful for all the love and support that all the fans, both Michigan State and Notre Dame, and fans around the world for supporting me and my family and my girlfriend's family. I miss them. I miss them. But I know that I'll see them again one day."

 6. "CBS This Morning" aired a story on Te'o and his girlfriend on the morning of the BCS championship game on Jan. 7. During the piece, Deadspin reports, CBS displayed a photo of Kekua "several times." Deadspin reached out to the woman whose face was actually being shown during the CBS piece. From the Deadspin article:  "This week, we got in touch with a woman living in Torrance, Calif. We'll call her Reba, to protect her identity. She was initially confused, then horrified to find that she had become the face of a dead woman. 'That picture,' she told us over the phone, 'is a picture of me from my Facebook account.'"
7. The Te'o family never met Kekua, though Te'o's father had exchanged text messages with someone going by that name. The group was scheduled to meet during Notre Dame's senior day on Nov. 17, according to Deadspin.

 8. Te'o himself told Notre Dame officials he never met Kekua, contrary to a story written about the pair in the South Bend Tribune.

9. On Nov. 21, Te'o sent out the following tweet: "The worst thing you can do is fool yourself!"

Is this another case of #Catfish or has Manti Te'o been fooling us all? In hopes of securing Notre Dame a Heisman Trophy Winner. This storyline became unreal after the facts arose that Te'o's assumed girlfriend had been diagnosed with Cancer. Te'o didn't visit her. As time went on and she supposedly lose her battle with Leukemia, Te'o didn't even attend the funeral. This storyline has became familiar and often associated with the T.V. Show #Catfish. In 2013, has it really came to the point of Google Searching photos to authenticate a woman's identity. Or do people just need to stop attempting to have online relationships with individuals they've never met.

Chief Keef Taken Into Custody For Probation Violation

Looks like the Chief Sosa show will come to a halt for a bit. News just broke that the young front man of Chicago rap has been arrested for his probation violation. Here’s the latest on his case:

Chicago rapper Chief Keef was jailed Tuesday after a judge found he violated probation.Keef, whose real name is Keith Cozart, appeared in Cook County juvenile court. Cozart, 17, is on probation for pointing a gun at Chicago Police officers.
Judge Carl Anthony Walker found Cozart showed a “willful disregard” of the court. He’s being held until Thursday when the judge will hold a sentencing hearing.
Prosecutors said he violated his probation in June when he visited a gun range in New York. He was prohibited by the judge from having contact with firearms. His attorney Dennis Berkson argued Cozart fired a rifle on private property as part of a promotional video. He said that didn’t violate the spirit of the judge’s order.
But Walker said it was no different than if Cozart handled a gun in a home. In that situation, he would have violated Cozart’s parole, the judge said.

Honey Boo Boo's Uncle Poodle Reveals He's HIV Positive

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo's Uncle Poodle is opening up about a very serious health issue.
Lee Thomson, the openly gay brother of little Alana's dad Sugar Bear, is revealing he was diagnosed as HIV positive last year in a new interview.
"I was adamant about getting my HIV status checked on a regular basis," Thompson recently told Atlanta gay magazine Fenuxe while promoting safe sex. "On March 16, 2012, I tested negative," he said. "Then, in May of 2012 my test results came back positive.
I knew it had been my boyfriend who infected me. I later learned he had been HIV positive and was not taking medication and had not bothered to tell me about it. I was advised that I should press charges and, hesitantly, I did. It was the right thing to do."
Thompson's now ex-boyfriend is currently serving a five-year jail sentence after infecting him. "I would have been cool with his HIV status if he had been honest," he said. "I don't have an issue with the disease. I would have known how to protect myself." As for Thompson's advice for people not practicing safe sex and putting themselves at risk of contracting diseases like HIV, he says, "They are damn fools! They are playing Russian roulette; they are playing with their lives and that of their sexual partners."

Kid Cudi Discusses Taking Antidepressants & Therapy

Kid Cudi talks about his ups & downs from the past year, including taking prescribed medication and going to see a therapist.

Kid Cudi made waves in the rap game when he first blew up with "Day N Nite," and since then he's come and gone, with projects like WZRD distancing him from his rap-loving fans. Now he seems to be back on his hip-hop, as he works on his solo LP indicud.

Complex spoke to Cudder about his past year, and his ups & downs, including going on antidepressants. Cudi talks about taking prescribed medication on "Dr. Pill," on his WZRD album, although he says a lot of fans misconstrued it as referring to molly. Check out what he had to say on his therapy and taking antidepressants below.

Last time we spoke was in March. What’s been going on since then?

Cudi: "It’s been crazy for me. I took a trip on antidepressant lane for a little bit. After the WZRD song “Dr. Pill” everyone thought I was talking about molly or ecstasy. But I’m talking about prescription meds. I had just gotten a shrink. I was having an emotional breakdown with this breakup. I kept trying different pills for five months. It fucked me up."

You addressed that on “Just What I Am.”

Cudi: "They weren’t working. It was every side effect on the bottle. I couldn’t fuck. My body didn’t work. It was not good. I said, “Something’s wrong with me. What the fuck? Why do I feel like I want to punch an elephant?” [Laughs.] “Why am I so irritable?” I finally got off the pills and then I started feeling normal. My brain went back to where it needed to be. I was able to analyze things and get my shit together."

What about therapy? Was that helping you?

Cudi: "A year ago I wouldn’t even go to a therapist or psychiatrist. But I gave it a shot. It’s working for me but it’s not for everyone. I’ve got some fucking problems.[Laughs.] It’s good for me to talk to someone who helps me see things. I had no other choice.I was like, “Damn, I have to take a pill in order to be OK?” It bothered me. That was a real good moment after I got off the pills. I started to feel like myself again. I was happy and shit. I don’t need anything to make me feel good. I just need to get my mind in check and stop trippin’ on bullshit. I need to stop letting motherfuckers break me down, and make me feel like shit. I got to be a little stronger for myself and for my family and my fans. I can’t be out here like some simp, letting something beat me down and make me feel like a peon. It was about reclaiming who I am. It’s like “All right, let’s go. It’s time. Fuck everyone.”

Kid Cudi's upcoming LP indicud is scheduled for release in March.
